The Opportunity

Our client is seeking experienced Buyers for their operations in various international location to take responsibility for:

• Leading the contract awarding processes, by receiving the purchase requisitions and all the relevant bid's documentation (technical and HSE specifications), arranging the invitation to tender, receiving technical evaluation, executing the contractual and commercial evaluation.
• Managing the bid addendum and clarifications.
• Negotiating with suppliers, the prices, terms and conditions, preparing the contract documentation and award recommendation for the approval of Management.
• Ensuring that the procurement is performed in accordance with the applicable laws, procedures, local content requirements and coordinate with Legal, Finance, HSE, end users all relevant contractual aspects.
• Ensuring the necessary support to the users departments, by interfacing with the suppliers for clarification during the bidding phase and, after the awarding.
• Ensuring Contracts distribution to the interested parties.
• Preparing Contract Amendments and Change Orders.
• Supporting in the execution of Contract.
• Arranging the corresponding contract information for audits.
• Registering contract data in the Data Base systems.

The Person

The following skills and experience are required:

• Relevant degree
• Procurement Sector experience in upstream oil and gas
• ERP system knowledge (preferably SAP)
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in English
• Highly motivated and resourceful.
