Advisor Seismic Interpretation

Our Client

Leading provider of software and consultancy services for companies in the oil and gas sector.

The Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Geoscientist with sound technical skills in Interpretation to provide technical support for their sales team within the Asia region.

In this role you will be working with existing clients, assisting the sales team with presentations to potential clients and providing input into software development. Key components of the role include:

• Provide interpretation & modeling services and analyze customer data.
• Develop in-depth understanding of complex customer issues and provide solutions.
• Establish best practices workflows and deliver internal knowledge transfer (workshops or trainings).
• Ensure technical coherency and delivering of strong technical presentations to clients.
• Participate in technical evaluations ensuring that client expectations are met and discussed for further strategic action.

The Person

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:

• Degree or higher in Geoscience.
• Have a minimum of 5 years Seismic Interpretation experience.
• Previous experience in Technical Sales environment desirable.
• Have advanced knowledge of workflows and good working knowledge of related software applications.
• Effective speaker comfortable with audiences of all sizes.
• Effective team player
• Flexible - must be able to travel
• The right to work in Australia desirable but not essential.
