Senior Petrophysicist

Position Description:

Key Responsibilities for the role include:

• Identifying and managing key subsurface uncertainties
• Petrophysical Data Acquisition and Management
• Logging and Core Analysis Service Management
• Open Hole Data Evaluation
• Petrophysical core Data Evaluation
• Evaluate Cased Hole Logs for Reservoir Surveillance and HC tracking
• Perform Integrated Petrophysical Formation Evaluation for Development Activities
• Perform Appraisal Economics and Value of Information analysis
• Develop and apply models for decision analysis and real option valuation
• Communicate and Influence others
• Coach and mentor

Qualifications/Experience:

The following skills, qualifications and experience are required:

• B.Sc. in Petroleum or other Engineering, Physics or scientific subject.
• Minimum 10 - 15 years relevant experience.
• Skilled in all core Petrophysical competence areas.
• Familiarity with petrophysical software tools.
• Familiarity with field development planning.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of mentoring junior/ young graduate staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
