Our Client
An oil and gas exploration and production company successfully expanding their interests and activities in the Asia region.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to work in their Singapore office. The key responsibilities for the role will be:
- Reserves and volumetric estimates and production forecast
- Development planning and economic analysis
- Participate in asset acquisition including data room evaluations
- Attend partners meetings
- Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations to senior management
- Support less experienced staff.
The Person
The following qualifications, skills and experience are required:
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years experience working as a Reservoir Engineer in the oil and gas industry
- Proven ability in reserves and volumetric estimates, production forecast, development planning and economic analysis
- Knowledge of reservoir simulation and fundamentals of business valuation would be an advantage
- Previous experience working in the Asia region an advantage
- An effective team player
- Results focused
- Able to work effectively under pressure and successfully manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
- Willing to travel at short notice.
