The Role
Our client is seeking a Petrophysicist with both depth and breadth of experience to provide support for their gas assets. Petrophysics support will be provided for a range of activities including:
- Log data acquisition
- Petrophysical studies and reservoir characterisation
- Well reservoir management and new gas activities.
- Petrophysical data management
- Coaching and mentoring.
- HSE policies and procedures
The Person
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- Degree or higher in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 12 years Petrophysics experience in the petroleum industry, with the last 8 years working in integrated asset teams.
- Previous gas experience is essential and experience in tight gas reservoirs would be useful.
- Proven track record in technology application and transfer to operations.
- Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
- High level of motivation and resourcefulness is essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are very important.
- Previous experience and success in coaching and mentoring.
