The Role

Our client is seeking Production Engineers experienced in:
  • Workovers - design and recommendation to maximise well productivity.
  • Monitoring well production trends for 100+ wells.
  • Input into remediation action and well potential.
  • Advising and supporting relevant teams involved in maximising production potential of the field.
  • Accepting and signing off for drilling and completion methods for wells.
  • Trouble shooting for well control and production equipment such as separators, regulators, hydraulic packs, drive heads, PCP's, comms equipment.
  • Selection and procurement of production equipment.
  • Coordinating logistic support for well site production activities.
  • Assisting and training field staff.
  • Supervising field testing, workover and completion programs.

The Person

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:

  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 8 years working as a Production Engineer for oil and gas operations.
  • Experience working with both unconventional and conventional resources.
  • Proven ability to supervise effectively.
  • Sound project management skills.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
  • Effective problem solving skills.
  • High level of motivation to achieve.
  • Effective team player.
  • Good communication skills
