The Role
Our client is seeking Production Engineers experienced in:
- Workovers - design and recommendation to maximise well productivity.
- Monitoring well production trends for 100+ wells.
- Input into remediation action and well potential.
- Advising and supporting relevant teams involved in maximising production potential of the field.
- Accepting and signing off for drilling and completion methods for wells.
- Trouble shooting for well control and production equipment such as separators, regulators, hydraulic packs, drive heads, PCP's, comms equipment.
- Selection and procurement of production equipment.
- Coordinating logistic support for well site production activities.
- Assisting and training field staff.
- Supervising field testing, workover and completion programs.
The Person
The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 8 years working as a Production Engineer for oil and gas operations.
- Experience working with both unconventional and conventional resources.
- Proven ability to supervise effectively.
- Sound project management skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and the environment.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- High level of motivation to achieve.
- Effective team player.
- Good communication skills
