Key Selection Criteria
The mandatory requirements for consideration are:
- Extensive knowledge of pore pressure prediction and quantitative analysis.
- Strong track record of major software sales.
- Proven management ability to drive a dynamic sales team to achieve challenging targets.
- Previous experience in South East Asia is not essential.
The Role
The company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to be based in South East Asia. The responsibilities for this pivotal role are:
- Liaison with senior executives to determine optimal business development strategies for the region.
- Communicate that strategy to the sales team and translate it into operational activities that will meet and exceed projections.
- In conjunction with the sales team, champion the company, its products and services in all major accounts across the region.
- Develop a strong personal network and relationships with executives and senior managers in those major accounts.
- Liaise with technical development and support managers to ensure a seamless delivery of client orientated solutions.
- Be responsible for on-time delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts that are aligned with the regions revenue targets.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the sales team in improving their individual and collective skills and abilities.
- Provide briefings and reports to the Regional VP and Global Sales Director.
The Person
Essential skills and abilities:
- Exceptionally strong outcome driven skills in managing a regional sales team.
- A demonstrable record of delivering sales targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, both at the technical and managerial level.
- Proven skills in negotiating and closing major sales with key clients.
- Lead by example attitude.
- Strong desire to mentor and guide others to achieve the highest possible level of professionalism.
- Minimum of 5 years working in the pore pressure and quantitative interpretation field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Manager.
- A geoscience degree or other qualification relevant to the role.
