Management Accountant

Position Description:

A role for an experienced Management Accountant of Indonesian Nationality to be part of a small Oil & Gas team based in Jakarta. The main focus of this position will be to ensure, that through working closely with local, regional and head office finance personnel, financial reports such as Balance Sheets, Cash-Flow Statements, and Income Statements, Joint Venture Report, BPMIGAS Reports and Budgets are prepared and to ensure that the management and partnership receive timely, accurate and relevant information. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a Management Accountant function within an oil and gas company, preferably independent, in Indonesia. The candidate should be a creative team player, and a self-starter with strong communication skills. Compensation will be competitive in today’s market.

Principal roles and responsibilities include:

• To produce timely and reliable Management Reports, Joint Ventures Reports, Cash Calls and BPMIGAS Report on a monthly or quarterly basis.

• Prepare Corporate, Joint Ventures and BPMIGAS Work Program and Budgets and Forecast. Including any revision or amendment of Budget.

• Presented Budget to Partnership Meeting and BPMIGAS.

• To advise managers on all aspects of financial policy and control

• Maintain book of Non Operated Ventures, analyze and review operator reports.

• To develop and control a centralized accounting system to ensure that accounts are effectively managed, promote better internal control and internal check.

• Evaluate existing financial information systems and suggest improvements

The candidate must be prepared to travel within Indonesia as and when needed

Qualifications/Experience:

The following skills, qualifications and experience are required:

• Minimum 10-15 years of oil and gas industry experience.

• Preferably an degree in Finance

• Relevant experience essential in particularly within an independent E&P company.

• Team player and self-starter
