Provide flow assurance support across a large number of wells and associated facilities. Shall be responsible for recommending and implementing flow assurance techniques and preventing restriction and/or deposition of; asphaltenes, wax, scale (organic or inorganic), hydrate and overall system bottlenecks by chemical or mechanical means including pigging and flow enhancers.

The individual must have the ability to advise on flow assurance issues, combined with technical developments in this discipline. Competency in flow assurance modelling tools such as Olga, Pipesim and HYSIS are required. Expertise to include steady state and transient analysis of multi-phase flow, and an up to date knowledge of hydrates, wax and asphaltene deposition.

The Senior flow assurance engineer will evaluate all aspects of the system layout optimisation, with the following duties:

• Evaluate a system approach to identify key bottlenecks within the operating network.

• Actively work to reduce these bottlenecks and enhance overall production through the system.

• Undertake flow assurance analysis; prepare reports for multi-phase systems in both steady state and dynamic operating regimes.

• Support the development of preliminary operating procedures.

• Evaluate chemical injection requirements, develop specifications and system equipment requirements
