Position Description:
To work as part of a team and to manage all activities
carried out by major international EPC sales and marketing department. This
includes setting the strategy for sales positioning, pre-quals, presentations
but also direct sales activities forming strong personal relationships with
clients and dealing professionally with clients, partners and other divisions
of the Company at all levels.
Duties necessitate irregular hours to meet tight deadlines.
Significant requirement to travel at short notice, sometimes to remote
locations. Most business trips are of short durations.
Primary Duties include:

Ensuring sales strategy and execution approach are
incorporated with quality and technical integrity into pre-qualifications,
presentations and marketing documents.

Assisting with maintaining sales forecast database and
marketing intelligence for the assigned geographic region and coordinating
as required with other divisions.

Proposals co-ordination for specific prospects when
necessary. This involves working closely with proposals staff including the
Manager of Proposals, or Project Manager.

General sales and marketing co-ordination with Country
Managers for specific countries and clients as directed by VP and Directors
of Sales & Marketing.

Supervise market research from internet and other sources
as carried out by sales engineers to develop country and prospect specific
market intelligence.

Inputting and checking of draft and updated Tender
Information Sheets (TIS) and ensuring compliance with sales and proposals
process, from prospect identification, decision to bid, proposal
preparation, submission, negotiations and award.

Co-ordination with branch offices and monitoring of
budgets as required.

Supervision of publicity processes including press
releases, articles etc.

Periodic visits to potential clients and countries.

Generate trip reports to update the department head
regarding the outcome of the trip ie., meeting reports with client personnel
and country reports after each trip.
Qualifications/Experience:
The following skills, qualifications and experience are
required:

Engineering degree
-
Minimum 10 years experience with general exposure to the
EPC business in home office and at site. Good technical knowledge of project
execution and the executing of EPC business.

Discipline engineering, project controls, project
management, commissioning experience and general EPC experience.

Sound oil and gas and refinery technical and execution
knowledge.

Good knowledge of all commercial and contractual issues
including taxation and insurance for relevant geographic regions.

Ability to meet schedules and quality objectives.

Ability to take the initiative and work unsupervised.

Good negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, coordination and organizational
skills

Excellent written and verbal English.

Professional and courteous interface with clients,
partners and other Company divisional staff.
