Position Description:
To provide strong geological and technical
evaluation of exploratory and developmental projects. Reports to :
VP-Exploration
Primary Responsibilities
-
Conceive, evaluate, and recommend high
quality prospects for acquisition and inclusion to the exploration program.

Conduct Basin Analyses as required to
evaluate plays or initiate new plays
-
Assess the hydrocarbon potential of
development, delineation and existing discovery projects.

Cause to be drilled the acquired prospects
and document the objectives for drilling
-
Prepare final reports for drilled wells to
include the post mortem analysis of the success or failure Collaborate with
the Operations geologist as required to ensure the trouble free drilling

Recommend work program components and
determine their budgetary requirements
-
Prepare and present recommended programs
and achieve technical consensus.

Provider - For all service requirements JV Partners - For budget related
issues Govt. Agencies - Statutory clearances, Budget Approvals Technical
Qualifications/Experience:
