Position Description:
A self motivated, high energy, "hands-on"
Senior Geoscientist is sought, with 10-15 years experience, to augment a
small, fast moving multi-disciplinary team.
The Senior Geoscientist principal
responsibilities include (the list is not exhaustive):

Plan and manage implementation of 2D and
3D seismic surveys

Possess a proven track record working on
2D and 3D seismic interpretation (familiarity with Kingdom preferable)

Analyse petroleum systems including play
mapping and prospect generation, prospect assessment; risking and ranking

Plan multi-target wells and prepare well
proposals
-
Post-drilling evaluation, reporting, and
well data integration
-
Conduct exploration activities in
compliance with PSC, JOA, Company standards, procedures, and guideline
-
Preparation of documents/presentations for
Company, internal reviews, partners, authorities
-
Ability to work on a variety of tasks
including application round work, farm-in evaluations and follow-up of
interesting exploration and development licenses

Volumetric calculations
Qualifications/Experience:
The following skills, qualifications and
experience are required:
-
Bachelor's degree in Geology with
experience both in Clastics and Carbonate environments

10+ years experience working in Oil
company geosciences E&P environment

Possess the ability to work independently
-
Possess adequate presentation skills
-
English as first language is essential

Be Cost and Quality conscious
-
Be experienced across several basin types
and tectonic regime

Have some experience in petrophysical
evaluation

Have some experience of CBM (Australia)
and/or Geothermal

Be flexible regarding travel

Posses some new ventures experience
-
Be experienced in working in a small
company fast moving environment

Be able to adapt and rationalise workload
when it becomes necessary to priorities projects
