Technical Sales – Modeling Team Lead Asia Pacific

Position Description:
Key areas of responsibility include:

Define and communicate best practices for
integrated workflow based demonstrations. Establish and enforce
demonstration standards.

Analyze customer data to understand how to
drive additional engagement and expand footprint within the modeling domain;
develop in-depth understanding of complex customer issues and provide
solutions.

Establish and communicate best practices
for evaluations. Oversee all modeling software evaluations; ensuring all
customer and internal expectations are being met.

Work jointly with sales team to create and
execute a business plan that defines account/territory potential.
Collaborate with account manager or forecasting business.

Drive team to plan and execute targeted
user group programs, education, and learning communities to achieve
organizational and sales objectives; Evaluates qualitative and quantitative
results and implements continuous improvement initiatives.

Coach technical staff on how to deliver
stronger value, accuracy, and efficiency through more robust software usage.

Work closely with Product Management and
R&D to convey current and future customer requirements.

Track and provide timely reporting KPIs
for operations, financial, and corporate requirements. Aligns all staff with
corporate and regional objectives
Qualifications/Experience:
The following skills, qualifications and
experience are required:
-
MS in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum
Engineering
-
Have a minimum of 7 - 12 previous years
Reservoir Modeling experience, minimum of 3 years previous experience in
Technical Sales or Sales and prior experience leading others or demonstrated
leadership ability

Be an excellent speaker with expert
technical and platform skills; comfortable and effective with audiences of
all sizes.

Have advanced knowledge of geological
modeling and reservoir engineering workflows
-
Have good working knowledge of SKUA or
GOCAD, or strong working knowledge of a competitive product.

Flexible – must be able to travel
