technologies and represent the Company in relevant Joint Industry Project

Project management of all specialist
geological projects, especially in sedimentology, structural geology and

Oversight and execution of 2D and 3D
seismic interpretation for NV, Exploration and Development projects

Technical direction of regional studies as
required, including license round projects and field developments

Oversight and execution of 2D and 3D
velocity model building for both depth conversion and seismic imaging

Written and verbal reporting of technical
studies and presentation to management, partners and Government and other
regulatory bodies

Company across NV, Exploration and Reservoir Development

Meetings and networking with JV partners,

Contribute to the Company’s subsurface

MSc or PhD in Geoscience discipline with a
focus and expertise in geoscience

Significant international experience with
Oil & Gas Operator companies.

At least 15 years of experience resulting
in a thorough grounding across all GGRE disciplines with a multinational oil
company and have a comprehensive understanding of the use of geology in
quantifying and reducing uncertainty in both exploration and production
projects.

Must have extensive international
experience with operating oil companies across New Ventures, Exploration,
Appraisal, Development and Production.

Must have an in depth understanding of key
geological disciplines such as structural geology, sequence stratigraphy and
reservoir characterisation is essential and the ability to interrogate basin
and geocellular geological models is critical to success in this role.

Specific experience building basin models
and Petrel reservoir models is also required.

The role demands contemporary workstation
skills, which allow the geologist to participate actively in projects with
individuals & the Geological Projects team.

Awareness of and exposure to project
risking and ranking, and project economics

Awareness of the principles of reservoir
engineering and an ability to interact with reservoir and completions
engineers

Strong current workstation skills,
including working in a 3D modelling environment

Expertise in GIS and database management
would be an advantage
