Maintenance (Mechanical) Engineer - Thai National

Position Description:

A national petroleum exploration and production company dedicated in providing a sustainable petroleum supply. A top-ten publicly-listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand, operating in more than 40 projects around the world

Prepare maintenance guidelines for offshore mechanical equipment, including turbo generators and compressors, diesel engines, cranes, valves, pumps, fin fan cooler and/or pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and mercury removal units. Help develop maintenance plans and their implementation. Assist with technical aspects of mechanical work. Resolve problems for various issues, including staff development and manpower requirements. Ensure continuous availability of mechanical spare parts, materials. Monitor expenditures to meet requirements. Help justify technical modifications and assure their compatibility with existing systems. Carry out feasibility studies for equipment upgrades and improvements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• 6-8 years experience in a related, multidisciplinary industry

• Engineering expertise in Mechanical Engineering and broad knowledge of other disciplines

• Proven interest in keeping abreast of technical developments and industry trends

• Good communication skills to liaise with other discipline specialists

• Good command of both spoken and written English.

• PC skills with MS Office applications (i.e. Project, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Readiness for medium to long-term up-country, offshore and overseas assignments (3 – 5 years)
