Immediate
Responsible for all phases of the oil and gas
industry in Qatar. Principal activities include exploration, drilling
production, storage and transport and sale of crude oil, natural gas liquids,
liquefied natural gas, gas-to-liquids, refined products and petrochemicals.
Primary Purpose Of The Job
-
Participate in the development
LNG marketing strategies for selling gas in traditional, liquid and emerging
markets.

Research, analyse and assess
market and competitor data to develop pricing principles and recommendations.

Participate in the development
of innovative structures to add value to the Corporation’s LNG portfolio.

Undertake market analysis and
customer development activities.
-
Participate in the negotiations
of LNG SPAs, HoAs, Term Sheets and other LNG-related commercial contracts.

Develop a risk management plan
and identify key risk issues for the Corporation’s portfolio of LNG markets
and customers.

Carry out due diligence
activities for new customers/ market opportunities, including evaluation of
credit risks, market exposures, regulatory environment, etc. and prepare
reports for presentation to Management.

Participate in the development
of economic models, planning assistance, and advice on the current and future
international markets for LNG.

Maintain strong Customer
Relationships through frequent contacts and networking.

| Qualifications/ Experience: |
The following skills,
qualifications and experience are required:

B.Sc. degree from a recognized
school in a related discipline (Engineering, Business, Economics and Finance).
An advanced degree is advantageous.

12 years relevant experience in
the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in LNG marketing.
-
Market knowledge and working
experience of traditional (e.g. Asia Pacific), liquid (e.g. North America), or
emerging markets is a must.

Experience with LNG spot sales
activities including negotiation of price, charter hires and terms, and timely
evaluation of customers’ proposals in relation to quantities, prices, shipment
size and terms.

Well-developed contract
negotiation, legal drafting, and legal interpretation skills.

Advanced problem solving,
influencing and communication skills.

Strong analytical/ economic
modelling skills.
-
Business knowledge, strategy
and market analysis, and customer and contract development skills.
-
Ability to communicate with
clarity and logic at higher levels within the organization and with partners,
customers, and third parties.

Advanced computing skills.
-
Fluent in English. Fluency in
Arabic is advantageous.
