Immediate
Responsible for all phases of the oil and gas
industry in Qatar. Principal activities include exploration, drilling
production, storage and transport and sale of crude oil, natural gas liquids,
liquefied natural gas, gas-to-liquids, refined products and petrochemicals.
Primary Purpose Of The Job
-
Develop complex economic models
of the Corporation’s LNG Joint Ventures to model the fiscal terms, costs,
revenues and returns of such ventures.

Construct economic models for
the evaluation and analysis of new markets and opportunities considering
various cost, pricing, etc. sensitivities.
-
Develop consistency check
procedures to ensure the integrity and adequacy of analysis tools being used
for economic evaluation.

Develop and maintain databases
on pricing, global LNG supplies, contractual commitments by competitors,
global spare capacity, shipping availability and shipping costs.
Direct and oversee work performed
by Commercial Analysts and lead the economic evaluation of various LNG sale
opportunities.

| Qualifications/ Experience: |
The following skills,
qualifications and experience are required:

B.Sc. degree from a recognized
school in a related discipline (Engineering, Business, Economics and Finance).
An advanced degree is advantageous.

15 years relevant experience in
the oil and gas industry, including at least 8 years as a commercial analyst/
economist.

Market knowledge and working
experience of LNG projects and markets.

Excellent computing skills in
excel.

Expert skill levels in Market
Analysis, Competitive Analysis and risk assessment.

Advanced problem solving and
communication skills.
-
Expert understanding of
economics, various fiscal and tax structures.
-
Ability to communicate with
clarity and logic at higher levels within the organization and with partners,
customers, and third parties.

Fluent in English. Fluency in
Arabic is advantageous.
