A service provider to the offshore oil and gas
industry, with a complementary business in the supply of marine support vessels.
Primary responsibilities
include:
-
Responsible for the delivery of
programs against agreed targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
-
As Budget Responsibility
Officer for all Projects, co-ordinate the preparation and approval (Corporate
and Joint Venture) of annual Work Program and Budgets and reporting
-
Prepare annual Performance
Contract and report progress against agreed financial, operational and
business service targets (KPI’s)
-
Prepare Organizational
Development plans and ensure adequate resources are in place to meet Project
delivery targets
-
Work with the Project Manager(s)
to establish job positions and manning levels, career maps, training and
development programs, establish and maintain standards of technical and
professional competence and support other people processes in order to
motivate and manage the project teams
-
Monitor all Projects and ensure
necessary regulatory approvals are in place for design and construction
activities, and that Technical Integrity and QHSE Assurance Programs comply
with Company Policies and Procedures
Secondary Responsibilities:
-
Prepare Management reports
(Executive Committee, Project Review Board and Board papers and presentations)

Liaison with Company Directors
to ensure proper business integration and alignment is in place to meet
overall objectives
-
Represent the Company and
maintain appropriate relationships as required or desirable to foster the best
interests of the Company with customers, partners, suppliers, and competitors.

Review, discuss and modify
existing Company procedures and policies and provide inputs on modification of
other business processes, systems and policies
-
Participate as a member of the
Company’s executive management team in the developing general strategic plans
and direction.

Regularly report to the Chief
Operating Officer and the Board of Directors, as required, outlining
year-to-date progress.

Act as a senior officer of the
Company displaying characteristics of the organizational culture which is
ethics, integrity, honesty, trust, team playing and collegiality.

| Qualifications/ Experience: |
The following skills,
qualifications and experience are required:
-
At least 20 years diversified
oil and gas project management experience in a multiple joint venture partner
environment. The ideal candidate would have at least 10 years with a major
focusing on project management.

Directly related experience in
challenging international locations is required
-
Proven abilities in
successfully leading multiple projects and developments from conceptual
engineering through to commissioning and operations in a challenging location.

Demonstrated knowledge of
modern project management systems, processes and procedures
-
Proven success in building good
relations and working well with other departments to achieve business goals;
e.g. Upstream and corporate groups.
-
Demonstrated abilities in
successfully managing EPC contractors and vendors and in building positive
business relationships with Joint Venture partner and government authorities.

Demonstrates superior
interpersonal, leadership and cross-cultural skills.
