Senior Industrial Project Engineer

Position Description:

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Planning, the Senior Industrial Project Engineer is the primary focal point for Gas-to-liquids and refining ventures, LNG & Gas processing ventures, and petrochemical ventures established or planned

The main purpose of the position is to ensure close and effective coordination between existing / planned gas-to liquids, LNG & gas processing, and petrochemical projects.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for one of the three types of industries mentioned above, or a new type presently not anticipated.

To fulfill this objective, the Project Engineer shall be familiar with the project processes, feed stocks and products; fully understand project requirements, and endeavor to ensure timely development of facilities to meet these requirements.

The Project Engineer shall represent the interests of the Company during the design and construction of end-user projects, ensure compliance of end-user projects with Company policies, procedures and guidelines, and identify and promote synergies between the various projects.

Qualifications/Experience:

The following skills, qualifications and experience are required:

• BSc in Engineering.
• Advanced degree in business related area (e.g. MBA) is desirable.
• 10-15 years of experience in the Oil/Gas/Petrochemical sectors.
• Previous experience in planning or management of large industrial projects with exposure to a variety of disciplines.
• Comfortable in working with senior management and a broad range of external parties,
• Ability to represent the Company in important meetings with end-users, including staff from major international oil companies and international contractors.
• Previous international experience, appreciation of cultural sensitivities.
