Senior Acoustics Consultant

You will have the opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading consultancies with expertise in building, environment and entertainment acoustics and vibration. They are expanding their team of acousticians in the South East and are looking for enthusiastic acousticians preferably with skills in environmental and/or building design acoustics.

You would get the chance to lead a growing team of committed and enthusiastic consultants, and become part of a large and expanding broad based engineering and environmental consultancy with offices throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in acoustics or acoustics related discipline
• Must have considerable post graduate experience in acoustics
• Previous experience as Project Manager, to include budgeting, submitting proposals to clients, programming and report writing.
• The ability to use and instruct others in the use of sound and vibration meters.
• Specialist experience in either environmental acoustics or building acoustics or both
• Experience of using IMMI noise mapping software is an advantage
