Consultant Ecologist - Bat Specialist

The suitable candidate for this post will be an Ecologist/Bat specialist who will be enthusiastic, motivated and have a unique blend of skills, which will in turn deliver a high quality professional consultancy service.

You will be qualified to degree level preferably ecology or an environmental science discipline, and have specialist knowledge of bat species identification and bat ecology. Aswell as specialist bat skills you will still need, phse1, NVC, habitat mapping and EIA experience would be a bonus.

The ideal candidate will hold a Natural England bat roost visitors license, be experienced in carrying out surveys with a bat detector and have some expertise in protected species license application.
