Botanist

An experienced ecologist/Botanist is needed to join a talented team of specialist in the South East. You will become part of a successful consultancy who delivers a range of high quality environmental services.

Your role will be as a Ecologist/Botanist in the consultancy and you will use your botanical specialist knowledge and expertise to lead projects and train and mentor more junior members of your team. You will lead your team in delivering surveys, ecological impact assessments, and general project work.

The successful candidate will be experienced and knowledgeable in the following:

• NVCs
• Specialist Botanical experience
• Species surveys
• Habitat mapping
• Ecological data analysis

You will be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline, preferably ecology and have extensive consultancy experience. You must hold all the relevant botanical knowledge and experience and have excellent team management skills.

Alongside your qualifications and experiences you will be professional, self motivated and keen to progress.
