Bat Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has opened to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy.

The suitable candidate will be an Ecologist/Bat Specialist who will be enthusiastic, motivated and have a unique blend of skills, which will in turn deliver a high quality professional consultancy service.

The ideal candidate will hold a Natural England bat roost visitors license, be experienced in carrying out surveys with a bat detector and have some expertise in protected species license application.

The successful candidate will also be experienced and knowledgeable in the following:

• Phase 1 surveys
• NVCs
• Species surveys
• Habitat mapping

You will be qualified to BSc/MSc level in ecology or a relevant discipline and have specialist knowledge of species identification, animal ecology and hold the relevant protected species licenses. Extensive experience in carrying out surveys is also required.
