This independent energy company is looking for a Production Engineer Sub-Surface Expert to join the team in Egypt. This international company carries out the exploration and development of natural gas and crude oil throughout the world. This position will see you taking on responsibility for all production management issues such as those stated below:

• Production optimisation.

• Recompletions and workovers.

• Artificial lift.

• Stimulation design.

• Wellbore integrity and initiatives to enhance production.

• Technology initiatives.

Due to the responsibilities in this position, the company has several essential criteria that a candidate must meet. They are looking for someone with the following skills set and experience:

• Educated to degree level in engineering.

• Extensive production engineering experience.

• Completion design.

• Production optimisation.

• Production data analysis.

• Water flood and stimulation design.

• Operating cost management.

• Artificial lift failure analysis.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage teams of individuals.

• Identifying workover & recompletion opportunities

• Experience with water flood implementation and water flood monitoring

The company will also like someone who has the following skills:

• Experience with fracture and acid stimulations for enhancing productivity.

• Egyptian Desert Experience.
