This international organisation is one of Europe’s leading energy companies and has a key focus on exploring, discovering and extracting oil and natural gas. The company is currently expanding its business worldwide and is therefore keen to also expand its skills base through the employment of experienced and technically brilliant individuals. The company is currently looking for a Senior Reservoir Geologist to join the team in Romania.

For this role you will have many key responsibilities, some of which are outlined below:

• Monitor and follow-up horizontal, highly deviated and vertical wells.

• Propose and follow-up relevant data acquisition of core, logs and seismic to improve the geological image of fields.

• Perform 3D static reservoir modelling.

• Define and interpret structural and stratigraphic geological concepts.

• Undertake seismic interpretations, reservoir simulations and well test designs.

• Undertake development studies of existing and near-field opportunities.

• Provide technical expertise for geological interpretations, 3D modelling and data acquisition.

• Work alongside other subsurface teams and undergo reviews.

In order to be considered for this position, you will have to meet several essential criteria, outlined by the company:

• Educated to degree level in Geology or Geophysics.

• Extensive experience within a Reservoir Geology position.

• Experience of reservoir evaluation, reservoir management and field development.

• Knowledge of seismic interpretations.

• Ability to perform field geological models.

• Experience using Petrel, OFM, Roxar and Eclipse.

• Romanian language skills (advantage)
