REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE The appointee will be tasked with providing reservoir engineering support to the company’s multidisciplinary subsurface team and can expect to be involved in:
Applicants should be self-starters, able to work on their own initiate as well as actively contribute to this team setting. Previous North Sea experience would be a distinct advantage and this role presents a perfect opportunity for individuals interested in seeing demonstrable results for their efforts, rather than just functioning as a cog in a wheel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A strong relevant degree is essential & an MSc in Petroleum Engineering would be considered advantageous. This academic grounding should be paired with significant and relevant industry experience, clear and concise communication skills and an interest in ongoing professional development. Previous experience of working on gas condensate fields would be preferred. Relevant industry software capabilities sought include some/all of the following Mbal, Prosper, FloViz, FlowGrid, Schedule, VFPi, PETEX suite, KAPPA Sapphire, Eclipse, PVTi, PVTP. The workload looks for the appointee will be significant and challenging, and would be best suited to an energetic and highly motivated RE with good time management and organisation skills.
