Environmental Auditor

Cumbria, UK

£25000 - £26000 per annum

The responsibilities of the Environmental AUDITOR is to provide expert environmental advice to businesses in Cumbria.

Principle functions:

You will be required to:

1.Advice to clients
*Advise businesses on environmental matters including resource efficiency (waste, energy, water, raw materials, etc), environmental management systems, collaborative recycling, and biodiversity.
*Agree a course of action working within the timescale allocated to each business
*Develop and manage good relationships with clients in order to encourage positive attitudes and good environmental practice
*Advise clients on selection of services and products and on best practice in ensuring successful outcomes in the best interests of the client company

2.Teamwork
*Attend and contribute to environmental team meetings.
*Attend and contribute to training, provided to enable the effective delivery of existing and new services.
*To work collaboratively with colleagues and consultants in the environmental team and wider team to ensure the programme targets are met.

3.Service Quality
*To act ethically and independently of other commercial interests in the interests of the client
*Identify opportunities for improvement in services.
*Identify opportunities for new environmental services.
*Identify examples of good practice which could benefit the services and/or clients
