Energy Consultant

A leading multidisciplinary is experiencing rapidly increasing demand for its services to help clients in a range of sectors address issues related to energy, carbon and sustainability. The nature of the current work ranges from the long term strategic planning of energy, carbon and resource issues at the scale of a city to energy audits and performance certification of individual buildings.

They are experiencing particularly strong demand for the development of strategies for low energy consumption and low carbon intensity developments, including the development of low carbon and renewable energy supply solutions. To support the growth of our business in these areas we are looking to recruit a number of Senior or Principal Consultants to provide project management expertise and technical leadership in both energy demand and supply strategy.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with relevant expertise in passive design features, building systems engineering, low carbon / renewable energy generation technologies and development masterplanning (both in the UK and internationally). A significant proportion of our new business is related to projects in the Middle East and North Africa. Therefore, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in passive design and buildings system strategies for cooling in hot climates.
