As part of our continuing global expansion, our client is looking to recruit Utilities Analysts at various levels up to and including Lead Analyst level. You will be strengthening your credibility and will gain recognition as an industry expert with senior executives within the Energy and Utilities industry.

Duties & Responsibilities
*Successful candidates will be responsible for producing high quality market analysis covering the UK and European Energy and Utilities sector.
*Client satisfaction is key to long-term success in this industry. As such, customer orientation, communication skills, initiative, team work, flexibility and cultural sensitivity are key factors for an analyst's success.
Qualifications and competencies required
*Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent, an MBA or PhD is an advantage but not essential;
*Experience within the energy sector gained within an energy utility, energy consultancy, Investment Bank, Regulatory Body or similar organisation;
*Substantial practical and demonstrable knowledge of and experience in downstream utilities markets;
*Analytical skills, in particular the ability to analyse and develop insights beyond the basic presentation of data. A creative and critical mind, questioning project elements in the interest of the final outcome will be supported;
*Excellent time management, organisation and project management skills;
*Strong Excel data manipulation and modelling skills (with a particular focus on Visual Basic and Macros) would also be particularly advantageous in these roles;
