BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor

Our client is a leading construction and house building company providing building services across the UK to a wide range of public and private sector clients. They are now looking to recruit a BREEAM/ Code for Sustainable Home Assessor to join their team.

Specialising in individually designed developments this company is committed to their sustainability agenda. They have impressive plans to bring all sustainability and energy assessments 'in-house' and as such to set up an in-house consultancy to cover their work in this area. They are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to carry out BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Home assessments.

Not only will you understand the tools that are used in energy assessment but you will have a good understanding of the background behind why you are doing it and the positive impacts the work can have.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM assessments
  • Providing sustainability solutions relating to the planning and development process
  • Providing input as part of wider sustainability agenda
  • Advising on legislative and future industry issues
  • Drafting and issuing reports
  • Communicating and liaising with other team members on project details

You will have experience of undertaking BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Home assessments and be committed to the company's sustainability agenda. You will have the enthusiasm and dedication to help make a real difference to this exciting new project for the company. You will be a team player with the ability to work closely with other team members and extend your input across teams.

In addition you will have:

  • BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes accreditation
  • Experience of undertaking BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments
  • Understanding of Renewable Energy
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the cause

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small but expanding in-house assessment team that will allow you to have a real impact on the work going on within the company.
