Assistant Engineer/ Technician- Geotechnics/ Waste

An Exciting opportunity is now present at a UK renowned Geotechnical Organization in the Southern part of the Country.

We are looking for a highly skilled Graduate with the burning ambition and determination to develop their skills and to learn new skills showing a capableness of demonstrating technical competence and a willingness to solve problems.

The successful candidate will boast a good degree in a relevant field and will have gained excellent communication skills as they will play a vital part in this role.

The candidate will have the ability to undertake site monitoring and sampling of groundwater and leachate Levels and carry out gas monitoring, ability to carry out Construction Quality Assurance duties and an ability to log and describe soil materials to relevant standards. You will also be responsible for representing a professional company image to customers including clear oral and written communication.

This role is made for someone with excellent communication skills as you will be required to provide both clear oral and written communication skills. You will show an ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team on site and in the office. The candidate will have an awareness and understanding of health and safety issues on construction and landfill sites and an ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions.
