Senior Geophysicist

This is an established consultancy with numerous offices throughout the UK as well as within the International arena. The company is ambitious with a firm strategic plan in place for 2010, they are looking to grow their business unit and needs quality individuals to assist. Working with some top operator names within the UK Oil and Gas industry, they are looking for the successful candidate to deliver a range of geophysical seismic interpretation assignments. Working within a multi disciplined team consisting of Geologists, Petrophysicist and Reservoir Engineers, you will assist with the full life cycle of the projects, key skill areas must include:

- Geophysical seismic interpretation
- Seismic data processing and analysis
- Risk and uncertainty analysis
- Prospect generation and evaluation
- Depth conversion and volumetrics

The management expects applying individuals to have solid knowledge of industry software, it is essential they are comfortable with technical reporting and presentations. North Sea/UKCS experience is ideal, a mixed background consisting of operators and consultancies is beneficial.
