An internationally renowned O&G operator is currently looking to expand their Geosciences team at one of their international offices located in Cairo Egypt. This successful organisation holds significant assets in the North Sea, North America, Asia Pacific and offshore West/North Africa. The majority of their employees, directors and officers are share holders; either through granted stock options or participation in the impressive employee stock savings plan, or both. In relation to projects on the Fields, a Senior Development Geologist is sought at this time to form an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, alongside geophysicists, engineers and drillers in field/area specific cross-functional teams. The appointee will be responsible for:
- Development of geological understanding
- Reservoir geological model building
- Infill/appraisal prospect identification
- Well proposal generation
- Drilling support
- Farm-in and acquisition evaluations.

You will be working in an environment characterised by high pace, 'fit for purpose', technically rigorous evaluations and this is certainly an exciting and most rewarding opportunity for a Senior level Development Geologist looking to further his/her career within a busy work setting

Applicants should hold a minimum of an MSc in a Geosciences discipline. In addition to the relevant technical competencies, this role is ideally suited to Geologists with enthusiasm for their chosen profession and a flexible approach with a flair for technical project leadership and problem solving. Good interpersonal and team working capabilities are also required.
