range of services to the Oil, Gas and Alternative energy divisions. They have a
worldwide presence with their main operations focused in Western Europe, the
Middle and South East Asia, seen as an ambitious and an aggressive company, they
need high level individuals to join their divisions to assist with the
maintaining and breaking of their projected growth rates. The KL location has
already built a solid core technical team, with a number of projects commencing
they need a period of rapid expansion in order to ensure they have enough

The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager of the South
East Asia division the successful applicant will be delivering high quality
technical Geophysical work to a range of operating clients. This position will
see you become an intricate member of the technical decision making process and
you will be a key individual within the team not only within Geophysics, but
also within other G&G divisions. The typical skills they would like to see
includes:
- 2D and 3D seismic interpretation
- Advise of seismic acquisition and processing
- Seismic attribute and AVO analysis
- Involvement in risk and uncertainty assessment
- Competent user of related software
This post is a client facing role, therefore
excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) is essential. They
would also like to see previous experience of project delivery, someone with
knowledge of creating and executing project work plans and revisions. This
position will allow fast track development so the more responsibility the
successful individual takes on, the quicker their rise to the top will be.
Education and Experience
Applying individuals will need to hold an MSc
plus ideally will have previous experience within an operator. It is essential
you can function within a multi disciplinary working environment, plus they
would like applicants with creativity.
