increasing client portfolio that consist of small independents to large
international Oil operators, the outlook is looking extremely bright for this
organisation.
The Role
The key responsibility within this role is for
the successful individual to provide technical and team leadership on all
Reservoir Engineering issues. The applicant will also work closely with other
disciplines such as Geology, Geophysics and Petrophysics, so a broad
understanding on these topics is useful but strictly none essential. Assisting
the Reservoir Engineering Manager, the candidate will integrate and deliver
projects through effective project management whilst ensuring quality assurance.
You will possess good analytical Reservoir Engineering skills, ideally from an
operator and you must be willing to undertake technical and non technical
workloads. Key areas of interest includes:
- Well test and decline curve analysis
- Material balance modelling
- Dynamic reservoir modelling
- Production forecasting and reserve estimation
- Integrated asset modelling
- Analysis of PVT
- Asset evaluation
- Use of software packages such as Eclipse,
PETEX suite, Saphir, etc
Education and Experience
Applicants will need to be educated to MSc level
minimum, additional training and qualifications are most welcomed and will
definitely help with the short listing process. This post would suit an
individual on the verge of a Senior orientated post within their current
organisation, it is essential you are a technically competent person, one that
thrives under pressure situations and one with some management (people and
client) skills. The successful candidate will be within a position of
