The Role
Ideally experienced in a broad range of
Geological and Geophysical activities across different phases, you will assist
the Seniors and Managers of the division in preparation and delivery of project
work. Key technical skills needed for the role includes:
- 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, gridding and
mapping
- Preparation of basin and play fairway maps and
sections
- Prospect and lead analysis
- Risk assessment and volumetrics
- Technical input to well proposals and post
well evaluations
- Interpretation, evaluation and integration of
well data
- Costing of well programmes
Education and Experience
The management would like to see a good
Geological or Geophysical degree, coupled with a related MSc gained from a well
known international university. This is a dynamic post and will offer a diverse
range of activities, therefore the advantage is with individuals with a varied
background, although it is stressed that you must have the key technical
expertise as requested. Experience working within an operator is ideal,
applicants that has also worked within several known Oil and Gas regions will
also be given preference.
