The E&P business stream has a balanced collection of assets at various stages (from exploration licenses to the transportation of production), they aim to maximise existing fields as well as to rapidly develop discovered fields, whilst continuing with intense exploration activities within strong development potential regions.

With the company looking to further expand their E&P business section, they are seeking a new addition to join their team of Reservoir Engineers within their Technical Regional Office. Reporting to the Technical Manager you will work within a diverse team that will consist of specialists across the whole upstream spectrum. The successful individual will participate in the review and assurance of all operated activities within exploration, appraisal, development and production, this will include duties such as:

• Follow up, assist and report on development of operated assets

• Ensuring reservoir models are fit for purpose

• QC of simulation results

• Assist with acquisition and development programmes

• Provide technical assistance and expertise, as well as mentoring and coaching to team

• Leading of technical bids and tenders

Technical they require proven knowledge of:

• Reserve estimation and reservoir characterisation

• Reservoir modeling and simulation

• Well test and productivity analysis

• Decline curve analysis and production forecasting

• Use of industry software such as Eclipse, MBAL, Petrel

The management would be interested in speaking with those qualified to MSc level with extensive experience in reservoir engineering. It is important that this individual has a very good understanding of reservoir modeling, well testing, well production estimation and EOR. The capacity to work within and potentially lead a diverse team is vital, especially as you will be coming in at a Senior grade. Those that can demonstrate a constructive and positive attitude would be highly attractive, plus it is important you have a problem solving mentality.
