We are currently looking for a Civil / Geotechnical Engineer who is looking for a new challenge with a growing company in Hampshire that has an international reputation and customer base.

Our client manufactures laboratory and field testing equipment for the use of civil / geotechnical engineers and geologists. They are responsible for testing and installing high quality top of the range standard and bespoke equipment.
They are in need of someone to help ensure that the equipment they manufacture meets high standards that their customers expect and deserve and have the ability to provide their customers in the UK and Worldwide with training to use the equipment.
The Role
* Commission and test customer systems and equipment prior to shipping to ensure that they are fit for purpose and comply with the high standard of finish and operation expected of the company.
* Install products and train customers in the use of those products at customer sites in the UK and worldwide.
* Test new bespoke and prototype products from the aspect of the company user to ensure that they are in full working order prior to shipping and highlight any necessary modifications or adjustments.
* Prepare, update and upkeep user guides and handbooks for existing and new products to ensure customers and agents have access to clear and concise information on the use of all company products and systems.
* Take responsibility for the preparation of new commissioning procedures and update or modify existing procedures.
About You
* Be technically minded
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Good problem solving and analytical capabilities
* Civil/Geotechnical Engineering qualification, experience or background
* Reliable and flexible
* PC literate
* Some experience in the use and application of geotechnical testing equipment would be an advantage
