Director of Sustainability London/Oxford , UKŁNEGAward winning firm of structural engineers are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to lead the Sustainability team in either London or Oxford. Within the London office they have a team of sustainability consultants that have built an excellent reputation since the team was established 3 years ago and are now looking for someone to build on this and drive the team forward. They are looking for someone to consolidate their reputation and expand the team into new areas of work. They are looking for someone with enthusiasm and vision, who is comfortable meeting clients, able to guide other team members and develop new strategies. You will be given freedom to develop your own ideas but with technical and financial backing of the organisation. The team undertakes a wide variety of work within the built environment but focuses on infrastructure and buildings. Their clients include many highly regarded architects, developers and blue chip companies. They also undertake government funded research work, which covers the following areas; Sustainable strategies for concept designs, including Planning Reports and Master-planning This may also include the following; Renewable energy strategies, Micro climatic studies, Orientation, Thermal studies, Light studies, Materials analysis and Sustainable drainage strategies. The work will also involve Research & development which will include BREEAM Assessments.
