Senior Sustainability Specialist/ BREEAM Surrey, UK ŁNEGLeading international Environmental consultancy is looking to expand their Sustainability team that has experienced significant growth over the past 2 years to become market leaders within this sector. They are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual in the role of Senior Sustainability Specialist to help develop the team. The role will be based in their office in Surrey. The role for the Senior Consultant will involve providing the necessary expertise in the area of Sustainability/BREEAM for existing clients on a number of exciting building projects. You will also be required to develop this area for the company by bringing on new clients and developing these relationships. These clients will be from both public and private sector. The work will involve assisting current developers in meeting current sustainability policies through the production of Sustainability Statements and undertaking sustainability assessments and BREEAM assessments. The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree standard in an environmental or engineering discipline and ideally hold a post-graduate qualification in Sustainability. You will have proven experience in the sustainability field and ideally will currently hold the position of Senior Sustainability Consultant and this will ideally be in a consultancy, any consultancy experience would be highly beneficial. The applicant will be proficient in BREEAM assessments and preferably be a registered BREEAM assessor for BREEAM for offices and EcoHomes. Knowledge of this area for retail and industry is highly desirable. You will also possess project management, business development and client facing skills. The work will provide a great challenge for any ambitious individual.
