Sustainable Design Consultant

A leading international consultancy is looking for a Senior Sustainability Design Consultant to join their expanding Energy and Sustainability Team. You would become part of a growing team of committed and enthusiastic consultants based in their office in London.

The main roles that would be undertaken by the candidate will incorporate a wide range of skills, which will include advising clients, design teams, engineers and other professionals on sustainable development policies as well as carrying out environmental performance assessors and strategic sustainability appraisals. You will be involved in consulting on technical issues such as energy efficiency, carbon management and renewable energy technologies. You would also need to assist in the identifying and development of new business opportunities as well as having to develop concepts and strategies to enhance sustainability.

The successful candidate should have a wealth of experience within the design or construction environment and ideally have a higher degree within technology, engineering, science or architecture as well as a permit to work in the UK. You should also have experience in the use of sustainability tools such as ‘BREEAM’ or the international equivalents such as ‘LEED’.
