Principal Civil/ Geotechnical Engineer

My client is one of the leading Multi Discipline environmental Consultancies across the World with over 40 offices across 6 different Continents. With this global presence they really are second to none and as a long standing client of mine and Monarch Recruitment they have come to me with regards to this new vacancy in Perth Australia.

An irresistible opportunity has arisen within the buoyant Geotechnical Engineering department for a Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineer with experience in Design and/or construction of tailings facilities and mine waste management. The team has more than 100 years combined experience and with major projects already secured for the next two years they need to add more experienced firepower to the team.

I am seeking an experienced engineer with ideally a Bsc in either Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and a supporting Msc. You will possess a significant amount of experience in the design and operation of tailings facilities, leach pads and waste dumps along with expert interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have in abundance the ability to work in a team environment and also lead a team on projects and mentor more junior members of staff to achieve great results.
