For this position you will be getting involved in exploration, along with operator and non operator drilling. You will have several key responsibilities:

• Carrying out assignments with specific emphasis on HSE performance and cost effective delivery.

• Liaising with both production and subsurface teams to ensure that the objectives for well construction and well intervention are set.

• Work to maintain licenses and to ensure that designs and construction procedures comply with company legislative requirements.

• Managing, training and mentoring junior engineers and advising them throughout their development.

• Performing drilling completions, managing operational performance, managing operations planning and also well execution.

In order to be considered for the role you will have to meet several essential criteria:

• Educated to degree level in engineering.

• Chartered Engineer.

• Extensive North Sea experience within a drilling engineer role.

• Onshore and Offshore experience.

• Wide knowledge of drilling design and techniques.

• Norwegian Shelf experience is also desirable.
