Senior Reservoir Engineer

This international integrated energy company is looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join the subsurface team in Norway. The company is rapidly expanding and will therefore enable you to get involved with not only existing assets, but also new major developments that are taking place for the company.

Within this position you will be part of a team responsible for analysis, identification and planning, together with well operations. You will also be getting involved with production enhancement and well intervention opportunities, well performance analysis, and also injector and pattern performance analysis. In addition, the role will involve the following activities:

• Production optimization.

• Surveillance and follow up of well related problems.

• Data collection and interpretation.

• Implementing well intervention projects.

• Production forecasting.

For this position the company is looking for a technical individual that fits the following criteria:

• Educated to degree level in a relevant reservoir engineering discipline.

• Extensive experience within a reservoir engineering position.

• North Sea experience would be ideal.

• Experience in waterflood analysis, well performance analysis and gas lift design.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Effective skills in mentoring individuals.
