Production Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

This organisation has a successful history within the fields of exploration and production, and employs thousands of people globally. The company is actively expanding and is therefore looking to employ talented and ambitious individuals to join their team.

For this position you will be required to work within a multidisciplinary team in order to maximise production and to identify/deliver opportunities to increase well potential. You will also have many key responsibilities including:

  • Providing production analysis, monitoring and evaluations.

  • Generating production forecasts.

  • Providing expertise for ensuring safe and cost effective production methods.

  • Providing well production solutions.

  • Ensuring engineering input is provided for new and existing developments.

In addition you will also be required to contribute to meetings between operations, well services and drilling. Due to the amount of responsibilities that you will have in this role, the company is looking for an individual that meets several essential criteria:

  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Extensive production engineering experience for example with well intervention, flow assurance and operations.

  • Familiarity with computer packages such as Prosper and GAP.

  • Project management experience.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

The company is looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join the team. The person should be willing to travel as the role will require you to work offshore throughout the year and therefore the ideal candidate would be someone with offshore experience.
