Head of Reservoir Engineering

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a lead role within a well established company that offers high performance services to the international energy market. For this position, you will be providing leadership for the development of the technical excellence of the reservoir engineering group within the company. You will also have the task of presenting this technical excellence to the company’s client base and also to the wider industry.

For this position you will have many other responsibilities including those stated below:

• Supporting the continued development of the company’s reservoir engineering capability.

• Working with other Technical Heads to promote integration and knowledge-sharing.

• To work with other senior technical staff to establish career development plans for the reservoir engineering group.

• To represent the organisation by participating in events and promoting the delivery of technical papers.

• To support the development of technological solutions and products.

• Provide technical guidance and implementing appropriate change where required.

Due to the amount of responsibilities and the leadership role that you will be taking on, the organisation is looking for an individual that fits several essential criteria:

• Extensive experience and all round technical expertise in reservoir engineering.

• Willingness to travel in order to support business development of the organisation.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Enthusiastic and self-motivated.

• Vision for how the company can capitalise on new research directions.
