Senior Reservoir Engineer

This organisation works internationally to provide integrated consultancy services to the petroleum industry. The company works with both operating and non-operating companies in order to provide high quality services and solutions to businesses, and crosses many areas including exploration, appraisal, production and reservoir management. Currently the company is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen, with a main focus on working with a wide range of clients. Other key responsibilities that you will have in the role are outlined below:

• Well test analysis and analysis of PVT.

• Reservoir modelling and numerical simulation.

• Reserves estimation and production forecasting.

• Reserves auditing and certification.

• Classical reservoir engineering.

• Asset evaluation.

• Decline curve analysis and material balance.

• Integrating reservoir engineering results with other sub surface disciplines.

• Presenting conclusions of technical studies to team members and clients' representatives.

Due to the amount of responsibilities in this position, the company is looking for an individual that fits several essential criteria:

• Educated to degree level in engineering or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience within the oil industry.

• International experience both onshore and offshore.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.

• Experience managing teams and working alongside people of differ disciplines.

• Willingness to travel for this position.

The company is also looking for someone that has overall knowledge of many aspects of reservoir and petroleum engineering, and someone that is able to deal with the highest levels of management (e.g. commercial and Government clients).
