Supporting the Technical Directors within the E&P division, this role will see you interface with numerous specialists ranging from Drilling Engineers to Geophysicists, from Geologist to Reservoir Engineers. Reporting to the Exploration Director, your function will be to assist with the identification and proposition of acquisitions. Your activities will include:

• Conducting of 2D and 3D seismic interpretations

• Advising on special post-processing to improve imaging and predictions

• Calculating volumetric and propose production profiles

• Prospect generation and evaluation

• Participate in the review, assessment and valuation of new exploration and acquisition opportunities

Additional skills the Directors would like to see includes:

• Proven experience in mentoring team members

• The ability to work within a supportive multi disciplined environment

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Strong presentation and technical reporting skills

Individuals will need to be educated up to MSc level in a related topic within Geology or Geophysics. Regional European experience is ideal. Some travel is involved so it is important the successful applicant is willing to undertake short term overseas assignments.
