An industry leader in providing consulting services to the Oil and Gas industry, this company serves hundreds of clients ranging from fully fledge multi international organisations to professional international bodies, across numerous countries. Their ability to take up advanced Exploration and Production methodologies and tools is second to none, plus they have fantastic industry experience. With over 300 technical experts within the team offering the full range of petroleum upstream and downstream consulting services, this is an organisation that is constantly solving and responding to business challenges.

The function of this role is for the successful individual to manage a team of Geologists and Geophysicists within the exploration studies/integrated reservoir studies side, this will include activities like asset evaluations and reserve certifications. They are seeking an applicant with great team working and supervisory skills, someone that is a motivator able to get the best out of a technical team whilst being able to deliver their own technical workload within a demanding environment. A proven track record in basin study and geological modelling is essential. This posting has the potential for long term international assignments but please note the base location is Stavanger.

A Masters degree in Petroleum Geology (or similar) with exceptional industrial experience is required. Ideal scenario is for the successful applicant to hold in depth expertise within both an operator and consultancy environment. Additional qualifications and certifications welcomed.
