Senior HydrogeologistLocation: North MidlandsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive multi-disciplinery consultancy, offering a range of interesting work and outstanding long-term career prospects. Based within the Hydrogeology team and reporting to the Technical Director, you will provide technical and managerial support to and be required to carry out hydrogeological and hydrological duties on mining, waste and construction projects in the UK as well as overseas. The successful applicant you will have 5 - 10 years experience, including mining experience (with experience of working on mining projects overseas being desirable), with hydrological knowledge being advantageous. You should have field experience and be willing to work on overseas assignments. Familiarity with well construction and pumping test and groundwater modelling packages is essential together with being numerate. You will be an excellent communicator, both face to face with clients and in the production of clear and accurate reports. You will also possess supervisory and project management skills together with being able to train and mentor members of staff within the team. It is essential that you are educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a first degree and/or masters qualification in hydrogeology or related subject and ideally you will be chartered with an appropriate professional body.
